1000 Smile Project

If you didn't see me in the office last week, it is because I had the opportunity to partner with Great Shape! Inc. to provide dental care to those in need in Jamaica. The 1000 Smiles Project is the world's largest, international, humanitarian dental project that provides access to free dental care for thousands of people in Jamaica and St. Lucia. There is just one public dentist for every 100,000 people in rural Jamaica and only two oral surgeons on the entire island.

The video clip is just a small sample of the 888 smiles we were able to change in that one week. I want to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff and patients we have here who helped to make the trip last week possible.
